CSCS Alliance Cards

As a CSCS Smart Check IT Partner, Biosite has integrated with the new CSCS Smart Check system to verify CSCS Alliance Cards. CSCS Smart Check is a paid service offering from CSCS and requires a license agreement. To enable this functionality on your Biosite portal, contact sales-admin@biositesystems.com.

 Some of the benefits of the CSCS Smart Check integration are:   

Support for all 38 CSCS Alliance card schemes.
Periodic updating by Biosite of CSCS cards uploaded to the Biosite portal  
The operative’s photo is downloaded from the front card, for use as their profile image, if one is not already present

As of the time of writing (09/05/24), there are ongoing issues with parts of the CSCS Smart Check system, see the CSCS Smart Check notice for more information.

Scanning CSCS Alliance cards on the Biosite Site PC

When adding or updating an operative on the Biosite site PC, a CSCS card can be scanned to add that card to the operative’s profile and verify that it is genuine.

The below types of cards are supported for scanning in this way. The last two require a webcam to be installed on the Biosite site PC.

Any CSCS Alliance card with an NFC logo on the front
Any CSCS Alliance card with a QR code on the front
Any CSCS card from the CSCS mobile app

CSCS Alliance card schemes and logos are all detailed below. The CSCS Alliance is the voice of the 38 card schemes displaying the CSCS logo. Many cards have different colours and all have the CSCS logo on them. You must select the correct scheme when adding a qualification onto Biosite.
