Media Screen - Site PC - configuration

The Dashboard that displays in the Site Monitor can be displayed on a secondary large Media Screen for a live snapshot of the site status

Customise media screen 

• To customise the settings select Manage Site from the Main Menu
• Select Message Screen Settings

• Select the blue cog symbol to edit the dashboard to edit the program. 
• Select the blue writing ‘Add a new program’ to add a new program.
• Click the red cross icon to delete a program
• A program is a set of widgets that will be displayed for a specific amount of time on a specific additional screen.

Having selected the blue cog symbol

• The dashboard will display
• To edit the program click Edit

• The dashboard will display in an editable format
• Click any of the blue crosses to remove a widget or click the blue gear symbol to edit the widget
• The blue Add Widget icon adds a new widget
• The Edit Layout icon changes the layout of the screen
• The green Save icon saves the current configuration 
• The red Cancel icon cancels the operation

• Clicking the blue gear widget opens the configuration screen for the widget allowing ratios, alarms and zone filters to be set
• Set appropriately and click done

• Once a widget has been removed it can be replaced with a different one.
• Click the blue Add Widget icon
• My example selected is Live News
• Click save The new widget will display 

Note:

Any widgets that access the internet will use data. If the device is accessing the internet over a chargeable connection this will increase internet costs

Scheduling

Once the program has been configured it can then be scheduled to play at different times of the day

• Select the blue Channels tab from the top of the screen then click the gear cog icon to schedule the program 

• Select the name of the program by clicking the blue plus symbol

• Select the blue time option in the schedule column 

• Amend the time to the time you would like the program to start and click the blue tick box

If the Biosite Wireless Fire Alarm System is in use selecting the notifications for fire or first aid alarms will display a message on the screen should either of these be activated on-site

• Select the blue text ‘Screens’ at the top of the screen- A list of screens set up on the system will display
• Select the blue gear icon
• Select the appropriate screens to display the programs 

Click save
