Each user of the Biosite system only needs to use one contactless card, no matter how many sites they visit.
To provide access to each site, the user’s card must be assigned once on each site.
Repeat steps in this guide to provide access to the relevant site
- In the local system click Manage Users
- Use the search bar at the top of the screen to find the user.
- Double click on the users name
- Click the Assign Card button
- Place the card (this could be any kind of contactless card such as CSCS Cards) on the card reader
- Click on Add card for this site
- The card ID number will display.
- Click OK
NOTE
CSCS cards must be assigned using the 'Access Card' button and not the 'Read CSCS'
Not all CSCS cards can be used as access cards for the following reasons:
- The CSCS card might not have a chip in it.
- The chip might be broken/damaged
