This feature is located within the Induction settings within Configuration.
Users with Alter Online Induction permission are able to configure whether operatives are required to prove their right to work status digitally before completing the online induction and attending site.
Configuration
Once the online portal integration with PPAC has been enabled, the online portal will automatically provide operatives with the ability to provide evidence of their right to work digitally through PPAC. This will not be mandatory in this default configuration.
Making successful digital right to work checks mandatory
To require operatives provide evidence of their right to work digitally before being able to complete the online induction the External right to work checks step needs to be added into the online induction flow.
Once the External right to work checks step has been added, all operatives who have not yet completed the online induction will be required to complete a Right to work checks step. Individual operative progress is shown in the progress bar.
Making successful digital right to work checks optional
To remove the requirement for operatives to prove their right to work digitally before completing the online induction the External right to work checks step needs to be removed from the online induction flow.
Once the External right to work checks step has been removed, any operative with the Right to work checks step as the only remaining step to complete will automatically complete the online induction as all required steps are now complete and will be issued an induction code.
The right to work checks step will also be removed from the online induction progress bar.
