New features ✨

Site settings for operatives

Users can now capture and manage site-specific information for operatives directly within the app. This can be done in two places:

• During operative enrolment to site
  • The new page is part of the enrolment flow, and will display the operative's profile is displayed.
• From the operative profile page by tapping Site settings
  • The site settings is a new option within the operative profile.

    

This feature enables supervisors and authorised users to configure access control details, capture site information, and capture travel data for carbon reporting.

Site settings

The Site settings page is divided into three sections:

Access control

This section allows users to define when and how an operative can access the site:

• Valid from
  • Set the start date for when the operative is permitted to access the site via turnstiles.
• Valid to
  • Set the end date for access permissions.
• Access groups
  • Select one or more access groups the operative should belong to. This is a multi-select field.

Site information

This section allows users to configure key site-related attributes to the operative:

• Site organisation
  • Select the organisation the operative is associated with on site.
• Basic trade
  • Choose the operative’s trade or role on site.

Travel

The Travel section supports carbon reporting by capturing how operatives travel to and from site.

Tapping this section opens a new page where users can:

• Mode of transport
  • Choose how the operative travels to site.
• Enter postcode
  • Used to automatically calculate the distance the operative travels to site.
  • If the user does not have permission to view the operative’s postcode, they can tap Estimate to calculate distance.
• Manual entry
  • Manually enter the distance to site.

Secondary travel

Below the main travel section, users can enter secondary travel information. 

This is useful when operatives stay in digs or temporary accommodation:

• Mode of transport
• Postcode
• Distance to site
