Currently CSCS SmartCheck only verifies that operatives hold an IPAF IPAL card. It cannot verify the specific training that the operative has completed. Therefore we are removing the auto-verification from the following IPAF qualifications in Biosite to reduce verification errors that users may be experiencing.

Operatives with this card type were forced into selecting one of the existing NPORS card types where their details would fail the automatic verification due to their actual card type not being CSCS. This card type will require manual verification by an administrator. The addition of this card type should resolve this problem for those operatives.

PASMA
The PASMA scheme operates with two cards containing a list of training categories achieved by the operative.
The first of these cards is the PASMA Training PhotoCard awarded to operatives when completing initial PASMA training.
As operatives achieve PASMA training categories their PASMA Training PhotoCard will be updated to include the achieved training categories.
The second card is the PASMA Access Tower Specialist card which is affiliated with CSCS and bears the CSCS logo.
Both PASMA Training PhotoCard and PASMA Access Tower Specialist cards, and the PASMA training categories, can be verified outside of Biosite using the PASMA Check a card service https://pasma.co.uk/check-a-card/
Only the PASMA Access Tower Specialist cards can be verified automatically in Biosite through CSCS SmartCheck.
