This feature is located within the Users tool.
Users with Can Manage Site permission will be able to manage the visitor log.
Visitor Log
The portal visitor log is a simple implementation of the visitor log feature available in the site software to enable the data recorded to be managed in the portal.
Each site has its own visitor log.
Adding new entry
New visitor log entries can be added by clicking the Add new visitor entry button.
The system will then prompt you enter the following information:
- Date and time of visit
- Organisation
- Number of visitors
The Date and time of visit field supports dates and times in the past enabling after the fact, or historical, entries to be recorded.
The Organisation field provides the list of organisations currently registered to the currently selected site.
Adding a new entry will automatically synchronise down to the site software.
Editing an existing entry
Clicking on the Entered date field in the table opens a popover showing information about the visitor log entry which can then be edited.
Editing an existing entry will automatically synchronise down to the site software.
Deleting an existing entry
Visitor log entries can be deleted by clicking the Remove entry button when viewing a visitor log entry.
Deleting an existing entry will automatically synchronise down to the site software and delete the entry.
