Competency Requirements

Competency rules now can be configured to require the completion of training courses before the online induction code is issued to an operative.

This combination of competency rules and training courses can enable a customised online induction experience for different trades, supervisors, or anyone else requiring further training before attending site.

Operative Profile

When an operative is required to complete additional training, portal administrators will see that the Profile step within the induction progress is incomplete.

Loading the competency requirements page will provide more information about which competency rules are outstanding and the necessary steps to complete the outstanding requirements.

Unmet competency rules now also provide a link to the field that the rules apply to.

Operative Training Hub

When an operative completes the mandatory fields in the profile step, or when logging in to the training hub after an administrator has entered their details, additional training content will be listed if there is outstanding training to be completed for competency rules.

Clicking into the competency rule details screen provides more information regarding how to complete the training requirements, and once complete the operative will be redirected back to the training hub for any further training requirements.

The online induction code will be generated once all training requirements and other required steps are completed.

In addition, the competency rule details screen now indicates which qualifications uploaded against the rule are awaiting verification by an administrator.

Fixes and Improvements

Operative Profile

• The operative profile Competency Requirements link is now listed directly beneath the Profile link in the navigation menu to facilitate easier navigation.

Operative Training Hub

• Operatives are now correctly required to Mark as complete all documents downloaded as part of a training course to complete that step of the training course. Previously this issue enabled operatives to only need download the document for training course step completion and were not required to Mark as complete.
• To reflect that operatives are now always redirected back to the training hub after completing the online induction steps, and that there may be further outstanding training to complete in the training hub, the COMPLETE INDUCTION has been renamed to CONTINUE.

Other

• Fixed an issue where an operative who was previously deleted from a site could not be invited to site again.
