The Biosite system also has other operative data fields that can be used to collect data that is used directly in specific reports. It is possible to configure whether these fields are mandatory to complete during site enrolment

Users will require the Alter Custom Fields Configuration permission to configure these settings.

These settings are located in the Settings menu within the Users tool.

Configuration

The fields currently available to configure as mandatory are:

• Mode of transport

Mode of transport

When configured as required, the mode of transport field will be made mandatory for data capture during site enrolment in both the site software and online portal. In addition, if an operative has a secondary journey to the site then the secondary mode of transport field will also be mandatory.

When configured as not required, the mode of transport field will automatically default to the Unknown mode of transport.
