New features✨
Qualification management
Downloading and verifying qualifications are permission controlled features.
When configuring permissions for an Organisational admin or a Portal admin, navigate to the "General permissions" tab. then to the "Biosite Mobile App" section. Here, you’ll find two new permissions.
- Download operative qualification documents
- Verify operative qualifications
View detailed qualification information
Users can now access a more detailed view of operative qualifications.
- In the operative profile, tap "Qualifications"
- Select the desired qualification
- Within this page, you can view comprehensive information about the qualification, including:
- Qualification name
- Expiry date
- Verification details
- Qualification evidence
View qualification evidence
Users can now download and view qualification evidence directly within the app.
- In the detailed qualification view, tap the qualification document to download.
- Images will open within the app, while other file types will open using your phone's default applications.
Note: File size will be displayed below the file name. Files are not accessible through the device file manager.
Verify qualifications
Users can now manually verify qualifications within the detailed qualification page.
- To manually verify the qualification, tap "MANUALLY VERIFY".
- To remove the manual verification, tap the three dots, then tap "Clear verification status".
User experience
Volume button to capture
When identifying an operative via facial recognition, users can now use the volume button to initiate the face matching instead of the capture button.
Home screen changes
The text on the home screen has been updated from "Manage operatives" to "Identify operatives".
The icon and text for initiating facial recognition have also been updated:
The camera icon and "Camera" text have been changed to an icon representing facial recognition and "Face".
Support enhancement
What's new
Upon updating the app, a pop-up will appear with a button labelled "SEE WHAT'S NEW". When tapped, a "What's New" page opens, outlining the new features in the latest update.
This page includes a button labelled "RELEASE NOTES". Tapping it will take you to the Biosite Support Hub for more detailed release information.
Help page
The "Support" page in the overflow menu has been renamed to "Help".
The page has been updated with the following features:
- "Support Hub" button that links to the Biosite Support Hub.
- "WHAT'S NEW" button, providing access to the latest update details.
- "FEATURE OVERVIEW" button, guiding users through the onboarding flow.
