The online portal site holding pen enables users to view operatives who have access restrictions to zones on site.
This feature is location within the Access Control tool.
Users with Use Holding Pen permission are able to view the holding pen.
Holding pen
The holding pen screen lists all operatives registered at site who do not meet at least one of the configured holding pen rules.
The screen provides a summary of the number of operatives, the percentage of these operatives who have attended site within the past 7 days but are now in the holding pen, number of operative organisation.
The holding pen provides a snapshot of information at the it was loaded and can be refreshed by clicking the Refresh button.
Users can also search for specific operatives or organisations by entering search terms into the search bar.
Operative details
Clicking on an operative name will open the operative popover which provides the detailed list of reasons for why the operative is in the holding pen.
Holding pen rule summary
To view a summary of the enabled holding pen rules, click the Holding pen summary button.
The summary shows which zones have been configured to use the holding pen, and also which rules have been enabled.
Holding pen export
The list of operatives and reasons for being in the holding pen can be exported by clicking the Export to CSV button.
The exported CSV contains the following information:
- Site name
- Operative first name
- Operative surname
- Operative organisation
- Operative last seen at site timestamp
- Zones operative has restricted access to
- Reason for configured holding pen rule being applied
- Detailed explanation where possible regarding the reason
If an operative has multiple reasons for being in the holding pen, the CSV export will contains one row per operative per reason to facilitate further processing in other software tools.
Holding pen disabled
If the holding pen is disabled on a site, users can still view the details of operatives who would be placed in the holding pen if it were to be enabled.
