The site properties screen enables configuration of properties of a site.

The feature is located within the Sites tool.

Users with Can Change Site Configuration permission are able to configure the properties for the sites they are permitted to access.

Properties

Site name

The site name is not an editable and is managed by the Biosite software licence.

Default clock in zone

The default clock in zone is zone that is used by other Biosite products, such as the Biosite mobile app, to provide a default configuration for recording access events without requiring administrator configuration of each product in use.

Location

Site postcode

The site postcode is used throughout the Biosite products to not only locate where a site is, but to also aid in distance calculations from another to location to the site.

Biosite currently only supports UK postcodes located within England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

The site postcode field can be left blank if a site is not located within the UK with a valid postcode.

Site time zone

The site time zone field is used to ensure that data timestamps within Biosite are recorded correctly. This setting mainly controls the recording and displaying of the operative access event timestamps. The time zone for location the site is in should be selected.
