The online portal site auto clock-out feature enables sites to implement operative auto clock-out without the requirement of a Biosite site client.
The feature is located within the site Settings within Access Control tool.
Users with the Can Change Site Configuration permission are able to configure the auto clock-out functionality for the sites they are permitted to access.
The auto clock-out feature provides the ability to configure rules for both a clock-out at a specific time each day, or after a duration of inactivity by an operative.
Auto clock-out at time of day
When configured, the auto clock-out will perform a check at the configured time of day and will generate auto clock-out access events for all operatives currently in any zone that is not the Outside zone.
These access events will be recorded as a zone movement from the zone the operative is currently located in into the Outside zone at the configured time.
Auto clock-out after duration
When configured, the auto clock-out will calculate when an operative has been located in the same non-Outside zone following their most recent access event for the configured duration and will generate an auto clock-out event for the operative if the configured duration is exceeded.
This access event will be recorded as a zone movement from the zone the operative is currently located in into the Outside zone at the time the configured duration is exceed i.e. now.
If both auto clock-out rules are enabled, operatives will be clocked-out by whichever event applies first.
NB: The online portal auto clock-out feature is an independent feature of the Biosite site client auto clock-out feature and does not synchronise to or from the Biosite site client. It is recommended to enable auto clock-out either in the online portal or at most one Biosite site client for a given site.
