Configuring site specific custom fields
Custom fields can now be configured to have site specific values. This means for the same custom field an operative could have different answers. For example if an operative works different trades on different sites or if an operative is a first aider on one site but not another.
Site specific custom fields can be created the same way as other fields, the only difference being Site Specific Values needs to be switched to yes and the field needs to be saved.
This process is outlined below.
All Tools > Configuration > Custom Fields > + > Name > Custom Field Type > + > Site Specific Values
Configuring site specific options
In addition to allowing site specific answers to questions if the site specific field being configured is a drop down field, the options available within that dropdown can be configured to only appear on specific sites. For example the trade dropdown field could be configured to only allow groundworks options in sites in the first phase.
Once you have configured the custom field to allow site specific values, you can select which sites each option is available to in the Users tab.
Users > Settings > Search (Custom field you created) > Options > Select Drop Down Option >Site Availability > Let me choose > Add (Sites) > Save
