Training Course Categories - 8.154.0 (16/02/2023)

Training courses can now be categorised on the portal from v8.154.0.

The portal has 7 common construction categories pre-configured which can be deleted or renamed if needed.

The categories can be accessed by going to Training > Settings

• The categories can be edited by clicking on the category name.
• New categories can be created by clicking on Add a new category.

• The training course list displays the categories assigned to a course
• The training course list can be searched & filtered based on assigned categories

New permission group

A new permission group called "Manage course categories" has been introduced.

• This is under the General permissions in the Training and Qualifications section.

• Users with the above permission can manage the course categories.
• Course categories can be assigned to courses by users with the "Edit Global Courses" permission
• Course categories not in use can be deleted by users with the "Manage course categories" permission
• Course categories in use by one or more courses can be deleted by users with both the "Manage course categories" permission and the "Edit Global Courses" permission
